Earn your monarch migration badge today!

September means the beginning of the monarch butterfly migration season at Juniper Nature Center, and scientists are interested in catching some specimens for research.​

​

All you have to do to help and earn this badge is catch 3 monarch butterflies.** 

​

Once you're finished, take a picture of the bugs in your inventory and submit it to the form below. Then, Park Ranger Rachael can add the badge to your scout sash!

​

Don't forget to release them afterwards!

**If you are completing this activity after the November 2023 update, then you may either catch 3 monarch butterflies on your own island or catch 3 paper kite butterflies on Juniper instead.
